Corpse Flower

The very next time that one of these blooms at the Huntington or the Arboretum, I am going to make it a point to go see it.  It is so photogenic, and I am gonna bring my special lenses and get as close as I can. I might have to hold my breath however. The seeds for one of these are available. Do you think there would be any issue with trying to grow one on my back patio?

I processed the photos for the next 2 posts on my photography/road trip blog November Obscura  so be sure to check it out. I will likely be posting there again by Saturday afternoon. The photos of Concordia Cemetery turned out nice! Who knew that such a barren, albeit famous cemetery would be so photogenic! Thats the great thing about photographing cemeteries, they are all so different! Like people I suppose, but I don't like photographing people. Cemeteries are my favorite subjects, followed by things. .  like buildings, machines, old stuff.  I think the November Obscura blog explains it all.
