My favorite number is the number 9. Here are some fun facts on the number 9. Below is the progression over the ages and languages of the written form of the number.



Of course there is all sorts of Math-y type stuff about 9 but I won't bore us with those silly details!


A few religious and philosophical fun facts:


Nine, as the highest single-digit number (in base ten), symbolizes completeness in the Bahá'í Faith. In addition, the word Bahá' in the Abjad notation has a value of 9, and a 9-pointed star is used to symbolize the religion.
